All shows begin at approx. 9:30pm, and there is a $5 cover (all door proceeds go directly to the band). We leave free tickets for all shows at a few local businesses, so grab one for yourself and a few for your friends, and come on down!!! Spiritual Rez tomorrow - August 7th



What a way to start off Road Race Weekend!!!! Come on down and see this kick-ass band Friday night. Doors open at 8pm...show starts around 9:30...there is plenty to to to keep busy before hand! Play a game of pool...shhot some darts...relax on the patio...whatever...just come on in and bring your friends.

"Spiritual Rez, the Reggae Funk Dance Party is a 7-piece band who tirelessly tours the country promoting positive music and attitude. Having released two records independently, the band were the winners of the 2007 Boston Music Award for Best World Music Act.
Playing festivals and venues across the the US and more, the band has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Culture, Jimmy Buffett, The Skatalites, Buju Banton as well as have founding Parliament Funkadelic member Bernie Worrell sit in on keyboards for numerous shows.
Spiritual Rez is recognized as a band with "higher consciousness of respect through music" and will continue to grow in the hearts of music fans across the globe. "

Pay the Piper 7/10/09 @ Grumps

Pay the Piper is a quartet based out of Plymouth, NH. The band has roots at Plymouth State University where they started off playing house party’s and other college events. Over the past few years they have been playing shows all over the North East. The Piper merges reggae, rock, and funk to amass an arsenal of grooves to stimulate the senses. The band performs an illustrious amount of original material as well as fan favorite covers. The band has been creating a huge buzz throughout New England and is constantly playing new venues to spread the word. The band released their first EP “The Life and Times of Mel Fishland” in 2005 featuring “Beantown” and “Pine tree”. They just finished up their long awaited studio effort “Get Some”. PTP has a strong loyal fan base that brings energy everywhere they go.

Falmouth, MA - On Friday, June 26th, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad performs at Grumpy's Pub. GPGDS will be playing at Rothbury, Reggae On The Rocks, and Wakarusa this summer.
The sextet recently had their touring van converted to run on waste vegetable oil.

GPGDS played 180 shows in 2008, including performances at Mountain Jam, and Wakarusa. 2007 highlights include a three-week stint in Jamaica, numerous national tours, and a concert at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC). Thanks to their aggressive touring schedule and dynamic sound, Giant Panda has developed an extensive following.Formed in 2004, this Rochester, New York-based group has made a name for themselves through hard work on the road. GPGDS plays an eclectic blend of roots reggae, dub, and afrobeat; their impeccable musicianship and explosive live show have received widespread acclaim.Giant Panda will be releasing a new album in 2009.
